Personalised Artwork Commission
Personalised Artwork Commission
A thoughtful artwork commission shaped around your subject, style, and personal story.
A More Personal Way to Display What Matters
I begin by learning what you would like the artwork to express, from a meaningful place or memory to a favourite subject, colour palette, or visual style. We can discuss the feeling you want the finished piece to create and the details that will make it recognisably yours. This gives me a clear foundation for developing the composition and mixed media approach.
I then build the piece through considered layers of materials, colour, texture, and mark-making. The process allows the artwork to develop with depth and character while keeping your original idea at its centre. The finished commission is a unique piece created for your space, collection, or meaningful gift.

Art from feeling
I am Karen Arthurs, a mixed media artist creating ethereal, dreamy figures surrounded by flowers and the quiet beauty of nature. I work with acrylics, oils, pastels, fabric, vintage textiles, and unexpected materials to build richly textured pieces with a personal, expressive character. My art is for collectors and art lovers drawn to imaginative portraits, feminine energy, and work that invites a closer look. Each piece grows through experimentation, emotion, and my own distinctive visual language.
